On the helix of evolution, timeless thinking is the element lying on the axis of “the new” (upwards) and revival is the element bringing the evolution back.
Both of these elements are not separated considerably, sometimes the activities are “new” in the way of timeless humanism and sometimes they happen via a “comeback”. The method of revival is engaged conservatism, the activity of partial return of the old paradigm, which does not mean backwardness or defending the current state of affairs. Timeless thinking is the leading force.
Timeless thinking provides people with the possibility to continue in critical rationalism, which means searching for the truth and elevating the truth to a basic factor of projects and decisions (important historical model – Jan Hus), which is more important than ideologies. Timeless thinking also contains aware return to natural life and maintaining it. The basic ideological constants of timeless thinking:

Explanation of the constants:
1/ Humbleness of reason. A new phase of critical rationalism, in which “reason becomes reasonable”, it criticizes itself, starts to contemplate itself and comes to the knowledge of its limitations. Humbleness of reason is reached internally naturally with a conservative feeling of belonging to the mankind, not only to the inventions of reason. Reason admits that there are things above it and there will always be such things. These things are recognizable by reason as limited beings. Humbleness of reason is necessary to understand other parts of timeless thinking.
Currently, a certain “pride of reason” prevails. It is a conviction that people will invent everything and solve everything with reason. We can see that people caused conflicts, invented many means of destruction of the nature and themselves. They drain the seas, destroy the tropical jungles and pollute the environment. They destroy themselves in advanced civilizations without exercise, advanced nations are dying out and starting to have insufficient amount of means for social needs. They do not have self-reflection, which would provide some kind of flashbacks, a humility, the knowledge that they are not able to grasp everything with reason, that there are limits and they have to be precautious. Pride of reason was created from the disjunction of people from the nature, digression from natural principles and elevating people to Gods, which caused non-critical relationship to human reason and its inventions. There is nothing to substitute reason, but reason has to become reasonable at last and find a critical approach towards itself. By this it will find out that not everything can be solved with reason. There are natural principles that are more powerful, more secure, perfect but especially safer than human reason. They will learn that naturalness is better than constructivist projects of human reason, that there are superior principles that cannot be overcome.
Humbleness of reason is necessary especially because people control the nature and the planet to an extent and their decisions are important. I do not agree that people should make equal partners to animals and other living creatures; they cannot be equal partners because they decide about the fate of the others. People can only be the managers.
2/ Naturalness means preferring vital qualities of people and natural principles of the world to unnaturalness. This also includes conviction about the existence of a natural order and getting to know this order.
Natural order includes natural principles. These are the “building blocks” of the world. They are physical and chemical laws, biological laws and the laws of the human society coming from the essential qualities of people (the qualities that are included in the human essence are everybody has them). Such a natural principle is for example the market competition, which is the derivative of the law of natural selection. Other natural principles are: human belonging creating collectives, the effort to succeed, the effort to start a family, the effort of children to move, play etc. Natural principles work independently on human reason, but it is usually possible for people to remove them from their life and sometimes substitute them by a human invention. Natural principle is characterized by “toughness” – it is a building block, which can be used or removed, but it can be changed only slightly because it has its own inner rationality.
Traditional social order including all rules of life that are often hard to explain, nevertheless we know that they got the nation through the history, is also a natural principle. These rules are for example the rules for the creation of families, prejudice of divorce, effort for morality, codification of belonging, fair acting, balance of work and reward etc.
Respecting the traditional order means respecting naturalness, denying constructivism, protecting natural life and trying to bring back the naturalness. This goes along especially with the return of the natural principle of human belonging. Natural principles encoded in human essence and existing in the traditional order include also the truth and justice, which are more important than any other ideologies.
Humbleness of reason on the base of experience teaches us that human inventions are usually imperfect and do not work. Eliminating the market competition would mean economic decline, breaking of families leads to dying out and bad raising of children, decline of human belonging leads to selfishness, arguments, decomposition and mafia.
Searching for natural principles and preferring them is a command of timeless thinking. It is the return of naturalness into the life of people, which means it is conserved. As the mechanism of market necessary for economic prosperity returned, it is possible to return the natural mechanism of a family, which would be well supported with an example of “pensions from children”, where a part of the pensions would be paid from the taxes of one’s own children – the number of children and their education would reflect on the rate of such a pension. Democracy, which should be introduced especially in local conditions where it can make a difference, is also a natural principle.
Natural principles often became bases for ideologies. Natural principle of the market became the ideology of liberalism in its most extreme form (the market will solve everything). We relied on democracy too and we know that the process of its development is not complete yet.
Natural laws are a part of the natural order, limiting human life. Everyone knows that if there are no children, human society will vanish and if there are not enough children, there will be problems with the life of the older people. If we use up all the resources, our survival will be difficult, if we pollute the environment, we will harm human organisms with potentially fatal pollution etc.
We need to learn about the natural principles and use them, not destroy them. Natural laws have to be studied and recognized as superior norms.
3/ Responsibility for the world/belonging. It is necessary to understand that people take over the responsibility for the existence of other living creatures on the planet because the current spontaneous order of the planet’s evolution destroys or at least harms living things.
The humankind needs to realize the responsibility it has because today it owns the means for the destruction of the planet not only by wars, but by peaceful life too. Taking over the responsibility does not mean taking over the government. People can be responsible only for the natural processes that they can influence or that they changed in the past. Responsibility does not mean a revolutionary activity to change the world according to ideological projects.
Crisis spontaneous order: People have overcome natural principles to such an extent that the world develops spontaneously towards degeneration or destruction, especially because of current human activities. If the current economical spontaneous order would exist, it would use up all the resources and pollute the planet. People will be surrounded by an enormous amount of material means, they will gradually degenerate because of their convenient lifestyle without exercise and they will die out because of having not enough offspring and not being able to work. Many spontaneous processes are destructive even today. The current modernity has taken a turn towards crisis, it is directed only by itself and it is a spontaneous way towards destruction or at least degradation. Spontaneity is not itself a natural principle, it is just a consequence, not the essence of the processes. What is spontaneous does not necessarily have to be natural.
Taking over the responsibility by people means leaving all fatalistic ideological theories that claim that everything is controlled by itself, that they should not interfere with spontaneous processes or that everything is controlled by a superior spiritual force and we are only the watchers who happened to be on Earth, trying to get the most out of our life.
People own the means for controlling a part of the nature and nothing can take them away from them. Therefore they take over the responsibility for eliminating the natural processes and cannot rely on fatalistic ideas. Responsibility as well as other attributes of timeless life is given especially by introductory feeling of belonging to this world, to this planet, to all other creatures. Precisely because contemporary man of European civilization do not feel belonging with their national or State society, then do not feel responsible for this community and thus no responsibility for nature and the world. Responsibility is given by superior (cosmic) laws (see further).
The worst thing is that earlier spontaneous natural processes controlled fatal segments of human life and the nature and human communities in their social orders and ideological theories have encoded types of behaviour, which does not contain responsibility for people’s acts. Let us say that in the past, garbage was put into rivers and the nature handled it itself. Today the wastewaters are full of chemicals that are poisonous even in a small amount. People have to either go back and not use these chemicals or find a way for them to be harmless. Also in the past there were more children being born. Today advanced countries introduced efficient contraceptive methods and suddenly, sex does not create children automatically. There is no rule of an order, which would ensure at least a reproductive amount of children. In the past people had to work manually and therefore maintain their physical fitness. Today they live a life without exercise and exertion and if this would not change, they would degenerate physically.
Responsibility for human activities forces us to humbleness of reason and introducing (retrospectively too) natural principles and critical approach towards human constructions substituting natural principles.
4/ Conservation, preventing expansion. Natural conviction of the necessity to “conserve” something on a timeless scale, not “expand”. Creating the necessary agendas and norms connected to it. Conservation but not expanding applies to individual nations and creates an environment of cooperation and competition of models. Conservation and responsibility are feelings based on natural vital principles.
Human effort to expand which means increase the number of people, increase the massiveness, consume more and more resources leads to crisis. It is necessary to turn to more modest ways of life and let the developing countries solve their problems on their own, only help with education and advice and show clearly that people cannot expand anywhere. To not expand means to transfer the natural human tendency to make effort and succeed into qualitative projects to remove quantitative expansion.
This is the effort to conserve the natural systems and not allow expansion of those elements that destroy them. The effort to conserve is led by responsibility for the evolution of the world (see point 3) and superior (cosmic) laws (see point 5).
The effort to conserve something means focusing on the principles of a stable life in a stable paradigm, instead of focusing on expansion leading to destruction. It is an effort to ensure the continuity of the family, the community, the civilization and the nature. To conserve the nature has to become an engaging effort together with returning the natural principles into the human society and the nature. Active conservation is the opposite of all fatalistic and sceptical ideas.
Conservation is a natural phenomenon and it is the opposite of expansion, which is usually ideological. If expansion is natural, it represents a state of crisis in the new world. Usually it is not possible to create an ideology of conservation and non-expansion, which would be able to define conservation accurately, because ideologies tend to be simplified, demagogic and too specific to capture such a complex and general phenomenon. Anyway we cannot eliminate this possibility completely. In practice conservation is supported mostly by natural principles that have to be respected in order to ensure conservation.
In order to achieve stability, it is necessary to ensure rooting – relationship of people with a place, their hometown, their country etc., which itself leads to timeless thinking and to effort to conserve these attributes of life not only for ourselves but also for our offspring. Instead of expanding economy we have to introduce quantitatively saturated economy, which expands only qualitatively. Such an economy is described in the book Return to home or in chapters and articles of the same name.
The effort to conserve something is strengthened by the refusal of individualism and support of belonging with the society and its interests that include of course the effort to conserve the family for the future in the form of the offspring and culture. If instead of individualistic disjunction of individuals there will be conviction of collective identity, it is the first step towards the return of the effort to conserve.
Most of the religious systems including Christianity somehow know the term “conservation”, but they do not promote it because the systems evolved in an old paradigm, where biological conservation was a commonplace – personal spiritual efforts were a priority. Therefore today it is necessary to have ideas (prophecies) leading us actively to preserving the living existence.
The same applies to nations and countries: Conservation, but not expansion to other territories. It is bad to expand with a culture or an idea into the territory of other nations. This requires that the home citizens have to adapt to the home culture. Expansion of a culture, an effort to make specific ideologies universal leads to wars and instability. A stable world has to be based on mutual respect. The competition of cultural models and voluntary imitation of elements from more perfect models will substitute expansion of ideologies. Commanded political power in the sense of leaving cultures complete (not only their folklore) but ensuring peace and cooperation in the sense of timeless humanism is desirable.
5/ Respecting the superior (cosmic) laws and getting to know them as limiting and controlling norms in order to maintain existence of the whole living reality of the planet is important.
Natural order has its executive part; these are the natural mechanisms, and its legislative part – natural laws. A part of the legislative part is fatal (cosmic); these are unchanging rules restricting the behaviour necessary for the survival of an organism and the whole living reality of the planet. People cannot change these laws and if they do not obey them, they will die out. These are usually very clear and obvious things: If we do not drink, we will die. If we pollute the nature, we will destroy the planet. If we will not work manually, we will degenerate physically.
However there are hidden things: If the law of natural selection does not work, there will not be primarily healthy and hardworking people, but those, who never worked and who are not able to work or have generationally transmitted diseases. People will degenerate and even the most advanced healthcare system will not save them. Moreover, the society will collapse economically (which is already happening).
Here it is important to realize that human wishes do not work unlike the reality, that any beautiful idea does not work, that any modernist or old theories do not work completely, that promising and blackmailing via political correctness is unnecessary and humiliating. Part of the current “pride of reason” is the tendency to not see, talk about and accept the cosmic criteria, to think that human reason will “come up with something”. But these cosmic criteria are superior to us without us being able to change anything about it. These criteria are relentless.
Cosmic criteria tell us clearly that there is no paradise on Earth. This does not mean that people have to suffer and have a painful life but it is necessary that they make effort and work hard. If people would be able to gain everything without work and effort, there would be nothing to aim for and life would lose its meaning including reproduction. Will cannot be substituted by arbitrariness, work for a living cannot be substituted either. Effort cannot be substituted by kindergarten games.
We know that a certain coincidence of natural principles or the lack of their coherence or the loss of any of these principles also leads to destruction. Especially the new rules of the social order, namely those that substitute non-functioning principles or out-dated rules, have to be verified to be cosmic criteria.
An example of this is the situation after introducing efficient methods of contraception, which together with the whole paradigm of the modernity leads to postponing family and minimizing the number of children. Therefore it is necessary to introduce new rules of the order (changes of paradigms) in order to prevent the decrease of birth rate deep under the reproduction borderline and in order to ensure that the parents of children are suitably young and healthy. It is therefore necessary to create new rules corresponding to the cosmic criteria, especially after losing the old rules or after losing the natural principle (this phenomenon I call transposition).
Responsibility for the whole living reality of the planet (see point 3) and the effort for conservation (see point 4) are based especially on the perception and respecting of the cosmic criteria. Refusing the cosmic criteria is usually caused by an ideological fixation of the mind. For example the necessity for natural selection of hard-working and competent people as parents of the children of the next generations faces many old schemes of egalitarian character. Ecological ideologies often put against each other the existence of people (they want people to extinct) and the nature, but they do not realize that by this they enable the situation of social collapse of their advocates and expansion of those, who will not listen to them. They are not acting ecologically and they will never do.
6/ Recognition of imperfection and uniqueness of the human essence.
A part of the “humbleness of reason” is the knowledge that people are imperfect beings. They are very smart and dexterous, however they are imperfect because they do not know everything and we have to admit that there are things that they will never know. People sometimes choose good and sometimes they choose evil.
However people are so capable to know and recognize this fact, obey the natural laws and carry out their natural obligations. These are given by the cosmic criteria. The effort of a perfect man is beneficial but we have to see the limits of such an effort.
Human imperfection necessarily leads to importance of the social order, which limits human arbitrariness. Traditional order was created in evolutionary process and its rules underwent the natural selection. Therefore it is a natural principle and it is necessary to change it only with precaution. Submitting to natural principles is the solution for human imperfection.
If people were perfect, it would be enough to just give the power to one sufficiently capable dictator. Because people are imperfect, individuals or small groups must not be in charge (as the history tells us). Submitting to natural principles in the common area is especially submitting to democracy and its necessary condition – citizen equality and freedom of individuals. The well-known saying that goes: a man is bad but people are good, is true here. A person responsible to a larger community, whose acts are reviewed, behaves completely differently than when they are alone. In a human society there is an order but there is none in an individual. Democracy is therefore a natural principle working above the human will and people are submitting to this principle. As always the natural principle is more perfect that people. To get out of the natural principle and promote arbitrariness is an effort of the mafia. Democracy requires many conditions and often these people are succeeding in its limitations and complete elimination. Therefore it is necessary to know the principles of the democracy as parts of the natural order (see point 2), especially equality of competence and responsibility. Democracy is not only the voting system, but also the functioning citizen society requiring belonging with the community.
Imperfect people can behave well or badly, their arbitrariness is not predictable. In the Communist period most of the company restaurants were very bad, although the volumes of food were corresponding with the norms and the quality of the ingredients was not bad and although the Factory Committees were dealing with the quality of the food constantly, there was no results. There were a few good factory restaurants. When the factory restaurants were given to administration to private companies, the quality of food increased almost everywhere. Offers of special products started to occur. The arbitrariness of the imperfect human submitted to the natural mechanism of the market, which is more perfect.
Human essence has an unchanging element, which is given to the mankind as a whole and every races and ethnicities have it (everybody laughs, enjoy things, feel belonging, competitiveness and other common human traits), and a changing element, which changes over time in a specific environment (e.g. the hair colour, the skin colour, the size of the body). The unchanging element connects people and reflects their common origin.
People are unchanging in their essence. This is proven by history. In the advanced cultural German nation there was a destructive racist theory even in the past. There are proofs of experiments proving that even when people find themselves outside the social order and can afford to be violent towards other people, they will do it even though they are cultural beings. This happened with the survivors on islands and it was proven by many experiments. Culture has no impact on the human essence. People are not evolving to any better kind; they are not improving their essence. The culture and the traditional order evolve and people can become good only when they obey these natural principles.
7/ The task of people in improving the world. The development of civilization is a task in the process of improving the world, not solely for human benefit.
At the end of the 18th century German philosopher Immanuel Kant stated the basic thesis of the modernity: Man is the purpose himself. By this he said that people are not the tools of some superior (spiritual) force and not even the tools of other people and basically they serve only to themselves (everything for the man). Therefore until today the theory of humanism burdened exclusively by service to human interests is still valid. Human interests within the “pride of reason” became unsustainable regarding the survival of people and the nature. All modern ideological theories obey this selfishness, only religious theories still use the thesis that people are the tools of God and they serve God and his intentions.
This is the main idea twist of timeless humanism: Man is not the purpose himself, but he is the tool for conserving and improving the world. By this the humanism returns to a period before the enlightenment. According to old humanism people were controlled by their needs that they satiated and increased by those that they did not need. According to timeless humanism people are responsible for the world and improve it as much as they can, according to their natural conviction. There will be only development of science and technology for the quality of life of all living creatures, not increase of material means. We could also call it: from quantity to quality.
When people are not led and raised to serve higher purposes, they really become only “the purpose themselves”, they become gods. Disjunction from the world around them occurs, disjunction from the natural principles, the society and then also from other people. If this principle is deepened, then also the service to the society opposes to this saying and individuals are considered more important than the society, but also more important than the future of the world, they become adored beings. This idol is, despite advanced medicine, mortal and it does not care what happens after it is dead.
Also stray thoughts can be considered higher purposes, however it will never become a stray thought to conserve the living being and be a tool for improving the world. Conservation of the nature, the people, the culture, the nation, the state and improvement of the world is the aim.
An important tool of this task is belonging of people with the whole world, with the nature and the cosmos, which is simultaneously educational and also political aim.
